2021 Year End Tournament

Welcome to the year end tournament for our in-house leagues, taking place August 6th-8th. Below you will find everything you need to enjoy a weekend of great baseball for our house league teams. We are using the Tourney Machine platform for the tournament this year. Schedules can be found online at the link below or using the mobile app.

Tournament Information

Tournament play will follow regular season league rules. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Any player, coach, or spectator ejected from a game for unsportsmanlike conduct will not be allowed to re-enter the tournament. All ejections will be reported to the house league committee. Umpire discretion is final in all cases. All protests must be filed with a house league committee member and umpire, and settled within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the game under protest. The official tournament schedule will be posted in the concession area of the complex. Umpires will report number of pitches and score, but it is also the responsibility of each team to track the number pitched for both teams. Keep this information available for review in case a question about the number of pitches arises. Failure to have this information documented may result in lost pitching opportunities.

  • The Northwoods South divison will continue to operate under the 5 player pitches and five coach pitches rules. Players can pitch 2 innings per game, 4 per day, and 6 for the entire tournament.
  • Northwoods North division pitchers are allowed to pitch 75 pitches per day and 100 pitches in total for the tournament.
  • Minor League pitchers are allowed 85 pitches per day and 110 pitches in total for the tournament.

The house league committee will also maintain a copy of the number of pitches in the concession area by the official tournament schedule. Games will have hard stop at 1 hour and 45 minutes for pool play on Friday and Saturday. In the event a game is mid-inning at this stop, the final score will be the score after the previous full inning that was completed. All games on Sunday will play to the completion of the game, regardless of time.

Tie Breakers For Seeding:
1. Best Record
2. Least Runs Allowed in Total Pool Play
4. Most Runs Scored
5. Coin flip

In a three way tie, runs against and then runs scored will determine the number one seed. Then the tie breaker will divert back to head to head to determine seeds two and three.

Smokin Brews and Q's will provide concessions at AAHS on Saturday and Sunday. There will also be an ice cream truck that will be selling waters and ice cream.
