Welcome to the year-end tournament for our in-house leagues. Tournament play will occur during the weeks of July 24th and July 31st during regular game evenings and times.
We are using the Tourney Machine platform for the tournament this year. Schedules can be found online at the link below or using the mobile app.
Tournament play will follow regular season league rules. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Any player, coach, or spectator ejected from a game for unsportsmanlike conduct will not be allowed to re-enter the tournament. All ejections will be reported to the house league committee. Umpire discretion is final in all cases. All protests must be filed with a house league committee member and umpire and settled within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the game under protest. The official tournament schedule will be posted near the tournament committee table of the complex. Umpires will report the score, but it is also the responsibility of each team to track the number of innings pitched for players on both teams. This will need to be reported to the tournament committee at the table after each game. Keep this information available for review in case a question about the number of innings pitched arises. Failure to have this information documented may result in lost pitching opportunities.
The house league committee will also maintain a copy of the number of innings pitched near the committee table area by the official tournament schedule. Games will have a hard stop at 2 hours; no new innings will start after 1 hour and 45 minutes. In the event a game is mid-inning at this stop, the final score will be the score after the previous full inning that was completed.
All games will be played at either 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM. All Northwoods games will be played at Woodland Elementary on Mondays/Wednesdays. Minor league games will be played at Discovery Middle School on Tuesdays/Thursdays. Major league games will be played at Fillmore Park on Mondays/Wednesdays.
The higher-seeded team will always be the home team. The home team will occupy the 3rd base dugout. For Northwoods and Minor league games, no games can end in a tie.
Unfortunately, there will not be concessions at this year's tournament. Please plan accordingly with snacks and fluids!
